When is the best time to book my Wedding Reception?
As soon as you have a definite date, especially for a Saturday between April & September.
How do I confirm my booking?
A deposit of £500.00 is required (non-refundable) to secure your date.
What happens after that?
You will receive confirmation by email or in writing (your choice) within 3 days.
When you’ve ascertained your final number contact Sue Barnes – General Manager & Master of Ceremonies, this should be no later than 2 weeks prior to your event.
When may I bring my cake & favors?
The day before your celebration you may bring along to the hotel the following items, your name cards, cake & table plan. Please ask your florist to deliver your flowers on the morning of your wedding day.
How will I setup my tables in the day & evening?
We will discuss your table plans when booking, but we will also help you in more detail once we’ve received your final numbers (no later than 2 weeks prior to your date)
Who will announce the speeches and in what order should they be?
Sue Barnes – General Manager & Master of Ceremonies will look after you on the day. The suggested order for toasts and speeches is:
Bride’s Father – toast to Bride and Groom
Groom – responding to Bride’s Father and toasts bridesmaids
Best Man – responds on behalf of the bridesmaids – may read any cards/messages
What happens between the wedding breakfast and the evening event?
The bar will be open in the Hotel so your guests are most welcome to settle themselves until your evening event starts. Alternatively, you may find some of them want to go home and change, or, if they’re staying, may take this time to freshen up. We can also lay on a tea and coffee table for your guests during this time if you would prefer to keep them all together upon request only
